This beautiful iridized glass bowl was made by Northwood. It is stretch glass in an opaque powder blue color that was named jade blue. Northwood made pieces in jade blue stretch glass from about the mid 1910's to the mid 1920's. The iridized effect on the exterior of this bowl is subtle. The iridized interior has more of a rainbow effect. The bowl has flared sides and a cupped in rim. There is a strawmark mark on the inside of the bowl which is shown in the 12th picture. Overall this lovely bowl is in good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. The bowl comes with a black glass stand. The stand, which maybe later than the bowl, is marked with a number 640 and has a strawmark. It does have a couple chips. These things are shown in the last 3 pictures. This bowl and its stand display well. It is an attractive set that would add a nice decorative element to a room.
