This Art Deco era brass photograph frame has an ornately detailed stamped scroll design on front, sides and back, and a large deco hanging loop at the top. Back board has a velvety covering in a russet color. Original photograph will be included and is a lovely color tinted photo of a lady wearing a rhinestone dress clip at the neckline of her dress. Photo is from Loring Studios and dated 1939.
Frame has an easel back for use on tabletop and a loop at the top for wall hanging.
Frame is in excellent condition, with no damage, and retains its original bright gold look - perhaps gilded. The only damage to note is a little darkening on the easel and on the strap holding the easel to the frame backing. The strap has a faux leather paper covering that has frayed. This is secured to a fabric base that remains sound, so should not affect it negatively.
Frame, not including top loop, measures 10 inches high and is 7 inches wide. It holds a 10 inch by 7 inch photo. Original glass in good condition.
This lovely Art Deco frame will beautifully hold and display a treasured photograph.
