What a fantastic print!

From the 1920s, it portrays Charles Ledoux, a European champion in the bantamweight category, seen in the foreground with his sexy chest and fun parted hairdo,
and a picture of what may have been his championship fight on top, all in a harmony of colors typical of early photo printing.

You will love discovering the details of the fight, and also of the chic all male audience, except for one lady, dressed in 1920s fashion, and wearing warm jackets and hats inside the hall, probably sign of a poor heating system.

Ledoux, a legendary boxer, who was a star in his own time, is in Wikipedia.

The piece is large and seems to have been one of these extra illustrations added to publications,
here the Xmas issue of: "La Vie Au Grand Air",
so people could remove them and frame them.

A rare piece, with vintage charm and character which will bring a touch of fun to any decor.

Perfect as a gift.

CONDITION: In very good condition. Thin glossy paper. Colors are fresh. A few very light creases at the corners and along the borders.

Length: 13 7/8". Width: 10".

( 35 cm) by ( 25.5 cm)
