For your consideration an extremely Rare Amourelle Frank Hess Design for Kramer Jewelry Creations of New York Brass and Rhinestone Brooch. This piece is truly for the Vintage Jewelry Connoisseur. The brooch is quite large at 3 1/2 in by 1 in. You will see that this brooch resembles Mr. Hess work at Miriam Haskell and at first glance you might think it would be marked as such. The collaboration with Amourelle only lasted a few years beginning in 1963 so finding any examples of this company's work is rare indeed. This brooch is in excellent condition. The design is an trailing vine with large red, green and blue stones (that look to be hand cut) that are highly styled "flowers" in the center. There are many clear diamante stones that are prong set to accent the design look. The base metal is brass with no darkening to the patina. The closure is a pin with safety clasp. Do not miss this exceptional piece of vintage jewelry history.
Condition previously worn but in excellent condition. Please see all photos as they are part of the overall description of the piece.
