1930's aluminum ware divided hor 'doeurves tray made by the Alcoa company and labeled in their decorative arts studio as Kensington. This piece comes directly from a gentleman whose father was responsible for hiring Laurelle Guild as the designer of the pieces for the Kensington Ware collection. The tray is Labeled Clipper Ship Buffet Server and has a wooden insert with six food compartments.
The tray is 22 3/4" wide with handles and 14.5 high. The wood and aluminum bars are removeable so it can be used as an open tray. It is in good condition with age related scratches from use. The aluminum is very thick and feels more like stainless steel.
I have many pieces of Kensington Ware and will be listings then in the days to come. Please check back!
